Josh & Jennie : Engagement

Nothing like doing what you love and getting the chance to visit some of the people you care for the most in life. A couple of weekends ago I headed south to Upland, IN. Greg wanted to come with, but was kept at home by a tough cold - plus we had a trip coming up that next Tuesday which he definitely needed to be healthy for. Anyway, it was about a 3 hour drive that started out cloudy and by the time I arrived was a gorgeous sunny day. I spent some time visiting with my college coach's family and Jennie (an old teammate from college) before we headed out around the town. I had a great time working with Josh and Jennie, and can't wait to shoot their wedding in July!

John & Kristin : Wedding

The second September wedding took us to a new location - South Bend, IN. Thanks to Kristin's amazing organization skills everything ran as smooth as could be. And on top of it the day could not have been more beautiful. After the wedding ceremony, with the sun still shining, we took a short drive to a small park located on Saint Mary's College campus for more shots - gorgeous! The night ended at the Blue Heron at Blackthorn, where they danced and celebrated the night away! Congratulations!!!

Ryan & Helen : Wedding

Doing a little catch up - last month we had the opportunity to shoot 2 weddings. The first of the two being back in Culver. It was a slightly cloudy day and above normal humidity for that time of year, but we had a blast! Thank goodness Greg brought two shirts :) Ryan and Helen's awesome personalities were apparent at every moment - Congratulations, we couldn't be happier for you!

Always a first!

Well I never would have thought we would ever be starting a blog, but here we are! This is the first of many posts as soon as I figure out exactly how all this works. For now be patient - eventually we'll use this for both keeping family and clients updated. I'm hoping to have our most recent photo shoots and adventures up here in the next few weeks. So stay tuned!
