Lee the Horselogger

Not something you see everyday - a man, 3 horses, 2 dogs and a wagon traveling across the country. I couldn't believe my eyes and just had to capture a few shots of his amazing journey. Check out his website - leehorselogger.com - to learn more about where he's been and what he's all about!

It's Finished!

After 3 long weeks we have finally completed our laundry room project! Removing anything and everything - ceiling, floors, piping, walls, cabinets and even a chimney. We are so thankful to have it finally finished even if it meant anything that could go wrong, DID! Oh and can we say no more shower and laundry trips to the parents house. Thanks to my dad (Tim) - "Mr. handyman" himself and his "trusty assistant/ shadow/intern/wanna-be handyman" Greg it looks amazing! Check out the pictures below of the progress and finished room. **Attempted to use photomerge so some images may look a little strange. Enjoy! - Especially you Melissa (can't wait to see you in a few weeks!)

First of the pictures - we had already taken down cabinets from either
side of the room (like the ones you see at the back)

Potato Tree?

Even though as I'm posting it's well after 1 am and I probably really should be heading to bed, I just couldn't pass up the chance to fill everyone in on my hubby's new science experiment (I guess that's what you would call it). I'm guessing some of you out there have actually done this before - when you were younger of course. He's decided to grow a potato plant from scratch or as he would say, "I've always wanted to grow a potato tree!" Oh and just try to correct him - he won't have it! So "tree" it is. Since I am obviously amused and somewhat excited myself to see what is going to happen to this lonely potato, I've decided to document the whole thing! Check out the beginning stages below - by the way taken with my new Canon 5D!!! Feel free to start your own potato tree and let us know how things turn out.

The Tree's Name is "SPUD"

What will you name yours?

R.I.P SPUD

(spud is no more - Greg disposed of him before I had a chance to show off his leafy green mold)
**It sure did SMELL!!!**
