Me, SEW?

I think I found a new hobby! And a useful one at that

My first ever project: Drawstring bag

2nd project ever: Tote
(gave 2 of my friends one of these at their bridal showers)

Oh, and it's reversible too!

If anyone is interested in the patterns for the bags, let me know and I'll post the links of the sites that I found them on. Have a great day!

The Kopp's

While on our trip in Utah we spent some time with Greg's brother and family. They had asked beforehand if we'd mind taking some pictures of them while we were out there - us mind? Yeah right! We had a blast - loving every minute we got to spend with them and of course we had another beautiful day to shoot!

Here are just a few of the many shots we took - Enjoy!

Sorry it took so long guys - we'll have the rest of them posted on the website soon!

Another Great Trip!

I know a lot of you are probably thinking to yourselves "about dang time!" - Well here it is, a quick overview of another great trip out west to visit some of Greg's family. We were very blessed with wonderful weather allowing us to venture to several locations of course many of them being our favorite places to eat out. We started our trip that very same evening we got there.

Activity #1 - Softball Game

Some great hits put us over the top to pull out a WIN! Sorry Greg didn't get a shot of you smashing the ball :(

Activity #2 - Mandy gets a way too short haircut
(just kidding Debbie - it's perfect!)

Activity #3 - Early Morning Crazy Hair

...while eating powdered donuts

...while singing "hot dog! hot dog! hot diggity dog!"

and ...while sharing a small basket - which Jude didn't enjoy so much :)

Activity #4 - Chucky Cheese & many arcades

Activity #5 - Bowling

Activity #6 - Making Maddie Faces

In order from left to right - as if you were reading:

Princess Face, Monster Face, Piggy Face, Surprise Face,
Scared Face, Sleepy Face, and Extremely Happy Face

Activity #7 - Hiking

Gorgeous but extremely dry scenery and talk about thin air -
we moved like snails

Activity #8 - Attempting to get ready for the zoo

Obviously had some trouble with that :)

Activity #9 - The Zoo!

The many animals we found at the zoo - they loved the monkeys!

We experienced the one minute speeding train ride - was only able to capture like 3 pictures. Had some MmmMmm
Good ice cream. Acted like elephants.
Took some pictures. And strolled around the park. Great Day!

At the end of a long day, you can understand why they were so tired.

Activity #10 - Loving the Outdoors

Because we had amazing weather during our time there,
we spent much of it outside soaking up the rays.

Last but not least - I got a huge kick out of knowing that Sydney has a
new invisible friend named Megan. Can't you see her?

Can't wait till next trip!!!
