The Best Ever!

I do have to say that I have the best husband in the world! This past Wednesday was our 3rd Anniversary - boy does time fly! We didn't plan anything overly exciting to do that day besides spend some quality time together (which is exciting, but you know what I mean). We went out to eat, and then treated ourselves to some new fish for our aquarium. Tiger Barbs are AWESOME! Doesn't seem like much, but when you live about 40 minutes from shopping areas it can take you all day. We had promised there would be no buying of gifts for each other this year - trying to save those pennies of course! However Greg is known for giving what he calls "The Day after (insert holiday)" gifts. I was pretty confident this year that this wouldn't happen, but boy was I wrong :) The next day he gave me beautifully colored roses - one for each month that we have been married 36 all together. They were gorgeous, and since they were bought before the no gift rule was in play I just couldn't be upset with him. He even took a few of them out of the bouquet and put them neatly in one of our wedding glasses - super cute!

So yeah all you ladies out there just can't compete!

Grill Master Greg

You know how it is when you get in the rut of just eating what you already know how to make just because it's easier. Well, check it out! Greg just started a new blog where he takes recipes, cooks them, eats them, and then reviews them for all his followers. He's trying to do at least one new recipe a week, if not two! So even though we may eat the same thing 5 or 6 days of the week, at least there will be one day that's just a little bit different. We all need a little variety in our lives, right?

Greg named his blog "The Clean Plate Club" - when he reviews a recipe he rates it according to how many clean plates - 1 being not so good and 5 being the best. His first recipe received 3 clean plates. Go take a look, it's a simple variation of an original!

Such a Grill Master!

If you have any recipes you'd like Greg to try for you, send them our way!
