Unexpected Spring Break!

A couple weeks before the area high schools were to go on Spring Break I received a call from the Campus Life director of my old high school. I was completely baffled at first as to why he would need to call me, but I'm sure glad he did. He asked if I would help chaperone the Campus Life Spring Break trip to Florida. I was in! (well of course after checking with Greg first) It was an amazing trip - not the best weather, but very eye-opening and refreshing. I actually didn't snap as many shots as I would have liked to, but here are a few.

This was our mode of transportation there and back.
If only this were a scratch and sniff picture :) All the kids sign the bus whenever they take a trip in it - it was literally covered - ceiling, sides, and seats.

R.I.P Brown Bus - a.k.a "The Turd"
On our way home from spring break we ran into some bus trouble - literally going like 15-20 mph down a 70 mph highway. Yeah I know! Dangerous! But we made it to a gas station safely, split up onto 4 other buses traveling with us and ditched the brown bus in Nashville, TN. We were all sad to see it go :( We made it home safely - just took a few more hours than expected.

These were some of the condos at the place we stayed in Destin, FL. It's an amazing place called Sandpiper Cove - right along the beach!

I was put in charge of living with 8 amazing young women.
Thanks for being so GREAT girls!

A shot of our group filming their video for that night's evening news cast. (Ours was by far the best! - nice job guys)

And finally a few shots taken at the near by bay just down the way from our condos.

Tony thanks again for asking me to be apart of this trip.
Although out of my comfort zone, I loved every minute! It was an amazing experience!

Tetris Attack Record!

Holy Cow! This was absolutely the longest game ever!!! We were already having a Tetris Attack Marathon when we ended with a 9 minute and 59 second game! Talk about exhausting! A normal game for us usually last anywhere from 2-5 minutes. And we're not even sure the game clock goes up to 10 minutes so who knows - we may have played even longer!

Oh by the way - Greg won! :)

Visit to Michigan

We played lots of princess

All of us decided to go to the beach while everyone was in town. The lake was still filled with ice and along with a breeze it made for a pretty cold visit. We still had fun getting some family pictures and looking for shells.

We also went bowling one of the days - Greg's sister dominated!

Nice form Greg!

Sneaking a few of Uncle Greg's nachos while he's not looking :)

Greg's niece has these shoes she call's "Jellies", so Greg always teases her that one must be Jelly and the other has to be named "Peanut Butter" - he always seemed to get the same response from her, "Nohohoho" - with a loud laugh.
I caputured a quick shot of it at the bowling alley.

The New Addition - Ella

Isn't she a cutie!

Just had to zoom in on this one

Check out those lips!

Greg's nieces and nephews have gorgeous eyes

Couldn't leave Maggie out

Thanks Uncle Dan!

The Week and Wedding : From the Eyes of Maddie (Greg's little Niece)

I think she has fixation on Greg - I only posted 3 of him, but there were a lot more :)

We miss all of you so much already! Can't wait to see you in November - if not sooner!

Johnny & Sierra : Wedding

Johnny (Greg's brother) and Sierra were married about a week ago in Chicago. They had a beautiful wedding, and it was great to see so much of the family at one time. There was of course lots of food, dancing and celebrating!

Gorgeous!

They spun for like 15 minutes straight!

Greg's cousins on his mom's side & Nanny and Papaw
