Vegas Baby!

That's right, Las Vegas! After our the ski trip with the whole family, Greg and I stayed an additional 10 days with Greg's sister and her family. Since we knew we had 10 days, and the WPPI Conference was going on at the same time, we decided why not hit up Vegas for a couple days! We had an amazing time!

Just some scenery from the drive there

We stayed at the Mirage all but our last night there - our last night we stayed at the Rio (if you're looking to make a trip out there the Rio has reasonable prices, is clean, and had a great buffet! - not on the strip, but pretty close they have a shuttle that runs about every 30 minutes)

Headed down to the strip to see the Bellagio Fountains

Eating inside the Venetian - the gondolas were going just to the right of us - really neat atmosphere inside.

Inside Caesars Palace shopping area.

Watched the Living Statues of Atlantis, then hit up The Cheesecake Factory - my first time ever!
Got the white chocolate raspberry something.

We didn't spend all of our time on the Las Vegas strip - one afternoon we ventured over to the Hoover Dam.
All I can say is whoa!

The new bridge they are building, and have been building for quite sometime - it's gigantic.

The size of the Hoover Dam was unreal - look how far down it was to the bottom!

Tested to see how a penny would look going down to the bottom - any guesses? Yeah we couldn't even see where it landed!

We also went to Treasure Island where they put on a show out by the street. I'd say it was just okay, but cool lighting at least.

One evening we hit up the old Las Vegas Strip - loved the lights!

Along the old strip there were a few guys doing some pretty cool paintings. They used nothing but spray paint and ripped up paper - how awesome is that!

LOVE this classic sign, and LOVE this shot!!!

These pictures are AMAZING, Mandy. You never cease to blow me away with your talent.

The trip was so great. I think we should make it an annual thing.

Thanks for not posting the jumping shot where I'm still on the ground. Awkward.

Seriously, awesome! I vote we make it a biannual...no, a quarterly trip.
