Whoa! We sure had a boat load of rain lately! Okay more than just a boat load - tons and tons of rain! I don't mind rain, and sometimes actually really enjoy it. I mean, don't you agree one of the best times to take a nap are on those days when it's raining outside and overcast - talk about RELAXING! We haven't necessarily had those kinds of days lately, but they have been interesting. Our days have consisted of blinding down pours, severe lightning, tornado warnings (with no tornados - yeah explain that one), and rivers out of nowhere! What I love most about storms is the calmness that seems to follow them - you'll hear the birds start chirping, usually a small breeze, and if your lucky maybe catch a glimpse of a rainbow.
A couple weeks ago after one of those crazy storms, God sure did paint an amazing picture!

I'm like...Gasp! WOW...unbelievable. Sigh...copy, paste, print, run and show David...beam with pride, sigh some more and think to myself...what an AWESOME shot. I can't believe you took that with an iphone....especially an OLD one...:) Just when I got really happy with my screen saver, the iris pic you took, I have to see this. I never cease to be amazed at your talent for capturing the most beautiful parts of life.
