Blake & Jen : Indy Engagement

Yesterday I took a little drive down to Butler University in Indianapolis for an engagement session. I was super excited about shooting this session, but at the same time a little nervous. Excited because it was in a totally new location and with Legge (Jen) - a friend and former teammate in high school, but nervous because the weather had been all over the place with a possibility of rain and maybe even thunderstorms. Oh and on top of it all, Greg was out of town so I didn't have my trusty sidekick :) FREAKING out a bit - you bet ya!

Although it starting pouring down rain as I made my last stop before the parking lot to meet them, it instantly cleared up once we stepped out of our vehicles. Can you believe that! We ended up with perfect weather, great location, and an AMAZING couple!

Johnny & Sierra : Engagement

Happy Thanksgiving! I know a little late :) We hope all of you had an amazing Turkey Day. Ours was fantastic! Very busy as I'm sure yours was too, but it was wonderful seeing family and friends. We had lots of turkey, mashed potatoes, noodles, and corn - oh and can't forget all those delicious desserts! (may have had 10 too many of those!) On top of having a fantastic holiday, we were able to celebrate the engagement of Johnny (Greg's brother) and his fiance Sierra. These two were troopers! Not only were they open to anything, but they also battled some super cold temperatures to try and get some night shots! You guys were great!

The following morning we decided to hit up one of their favorite locations and place where they first started dating. Loads of fun!

Josh & Jennie : Engagement

Nothing like doing what you love and getting the chance to visit some of the people you care for the most in life. A couple of weekends ago I headed south to Upland, IN. Greg wanted to come with, but was kept at home by a tough cold - plus we had a trip coming up that next Tuesday which he definitely needed to be healthy for. Anyway, it was about a 3 hour drive that started out cloudy and by the time I arrived was a gorgeous sunny day. I spent some time visiting with my college coach's family and Jennie (an old teammate from college) before we headed out around the town. I had a great time working with Josh and Jennie, and can't wait to shoot their wedding in July!
